Monday Night Raw

RAW from Arizona kicked off with Shane McMahon and members of the Corporation walking toward the ring. Shane announced that Mr. McMahon was on "special assignment" in Victoria, Texas-the hometown of Stone Cold Steve Austin. Apparently the owner wanted to provoke the Rattlesnake into attacking him, so Mr. McMahon could break his contract and fire him!

A cage was hanging overhead, and Shane ordered it lowered. As it came down, Shane badmouthed X-Pac! What he didn't know was that X-Pac himself was sitting atop the cage! X-Pac jumped down and pummeled the owner, but Chyna ran in from behind and low blowed the degenerate, and then she held him while Shane beat on him!

Intercontinental Champion Ken Shamrock joined Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler for commentary during the next match, Badd Ass Billy Gunn against Val Venis. Shamrock said he had promised his sister that he wouldn't lay a hand on Val, but he couldn't keep that promise for very long. When Val started gyrating in the ring, Shamrock couldn't take it anymore, and he picked up a chair, ran in the ring, and clocked the adult film star with it. Billy Gunn grabbed the chair and ran Shamrock off. However, when Val recovered, he saw Gunn with the chair and assumed that Mr. Ass had hit him! He attacked Billy Gunn!

Backstage, Mankind was spending the $100,000 that he stole last week from Shane's trust fund. The Rock, who was supposed to get that money, was irate!

Kevin Kelly interviewed Debra, but for the second straight week, Mark Henry interrupted the proceedings and propositioned Debra. However, the new Tag Team Champions, Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart, attacked "Sexual Chocolate"!

Terri Runnels was upset at the Big Bossman for calling her a "b*tch" earlier in the evening, so she called him out and ordered her personal servant for the last few weeks, D'Lo Brown, to take him on! D'Lo was in control and hit Bossman with the 'Lo Down, but PMS distracted the referee! Bossman recovered and nailed the former European Champion with a sidewalk slam to get the win. PMS walked away triumphantly, and "Sexual Chocolate" came down to save D'Lo from serving even more hard time.

After the break, the Blue Meanie came out to work the crowd into a frenzy as a dancing "RAW Boy". However, he was quickly attacked from behind by Goldust and given the Shattered Dreams! Meanwhile, backstage the same doctor that had examined Terri Runnels after her fall weeks ago on RAW was checking out D'Lo Brown. He informed D'Lo and Mark Henry that Terri was not and never had been pregnant!

After assaulting George "The Animal" Steele last week, Droz took on Kurrgan on this week's episode. The former Denver Bronco grabbed what looked like a broom handle from under the ring and rammed it into the 7 footer's throat. He then finished him off with a football tackle from the top rope. Droz continued to beat on Kurrgan after the bell, but the Oddities came out to run him off.

Midian and Viscera teamed up in what became a Handicap Match against all three members of the Brood. The Undertaker was supposed to be on the Ministry's team, but just looked on from his perch near the entrance area. The Acolytes came out and ganged up with the other members of the Ministry to attack the Brood as the referee called for a disqualification. Several officials came out to help the Brood, but for some reason Edge, Christian and Gangrel threw them out of the ring! As a result, they took even more punishment. Bradshaw put a noose around Gangrel's neck and hung him over the ropes! Meanwhile, the Undertaker merely stood and watched.

The new World Wrestling Federation Champion, Mankind, came out next. But before he could do much celebrating with the fans, The Rock crashed the party. He challenged the Deranged One to a Last Man Standing match for the championship at St. Valentine's Day Massacre-and Mankind quickly accepted.

Two superstars that will face off at St. Valentine's Day Massacre, Al Snow and Road Dogg, teamed up for a Hardcore Rules tag team match against the Acolytes. Al Snow and Faarooq battled all the way through the crowd and outside the arena. Snow placed Faarooq on a table and was set to splash him when Viscera appeared, caught Snow, and drove him down onto the concrete outside the arena. Faarooq recovered and headed back toward the ring to double team the Road Dogg. After the Acolytes put the Dogg headfirst through a table, they pinned him and got the win. Afterwards, the entire Ministry, including three druids, attacked Road Dogg. The lights went out and the Undertaker appeared, and the Ministry members unhooded the druids to reveal they were the Brood!

After the break, an angry Road Dogg went to find Al Snow. The Hardcore Champion thought Snow had abandoned him midway through the match, and he nailed him with a steel chair!

In Victoria, Texas, Mr. McMahon found Stone Cold Steve Austin in a local bar. But Austin refused to hit him until it was "nice and legal" at St. Valentine's Day Massacre. However, after Austin went back to his house, the Victoria locals did not show the owner and the stooges the same courtesy.

In a steel cage match, Triple H took on Kane! After Kane hit HHH with a chokeslam, he tried to escape, but X-Pac ran out and slammed the door twice into the Big Red Machine's head! Kane then tried to escape by climbing up and over the cage, but X-Pac climbed up the other side and pummeled the 7-foot monster. On the opposite end of the cage, Triple H began to scale. Chyna ran out went inside the cage and grabbed the DX leader's foot. However, HHH shook her off and climbed up and over! Chyna grabbed the microphone and said that the fun for DX would end in two weeks at St. Valentine's Day Massacre!

Sunday Night Heat

Last Monday night on RAW IS WAR, Chyna shocked the rest of D-Generation Xand the entire worldwhen she turned on HHH and the boys in order to join the Corporation. Now six days later, the Ninth Wonder of the World was ready to explain her actions on Sunday Night Heat!

She made her way to the ring arm-in-arm with Mr. Brisco and Mr. Patterson, where the rest of The Corporation was waiting for her. Chyna explained that she was fed up with the lack of appreciation she was shown from DX. Claiming that she was responsible for much of their success, Chyna said she never got anything in return and she couldnt take it anymore. Of course, appreciation wasnt the only reason she jumped ship. Letting us all know that greed played a part in her decision, Chyna said that with the amount of money Mr. McMahon was giving her, she could by the members of D-Generation X "like cheap whores!"

Not long after, HHH, X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws were up on stage to fire back. Triple H didnt seem to be too distraught with Chynas decision. Saying that she could never have been an equal in DX, because no matter how jacked she is, shell always be a woman. The Corporation was able to fire back when Shane informed Triple H that hell be in action this Monday on RAW IS WAR in a STEEL CAGE MATCH with Kane!

Less than one week ago, Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart defeated the Big Bossman and Ken Shamrock for the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Titles. This Sunday on HEAT, the former champions tried to get some revenge in a pair of singles matches.

First up were Jeff Jarrett and the Big Bossman. With the lovely Debra by his side, Jarrett battled back and forth with the Bossman. The bodacious blond jumped on the ring apron hoping to give her man an advantage, but the plan backfired! The Bossman was able to reverse an Irish whip and hit Jarrett with a sidewalk slam and record the three count.

Ken Shamrock, who is really not happy these days, took on Owen Hart. Each superstar capitalized on his distinct style, Hart the technically sound mat game and Shamrock the UFC adapted style, to take control of the match at times. Suddenly, out of nowhere the Blue Blazer appeared! The Blazer got up on the top rope ready to launch into orbit when he was accidentally knocked off. Hart was obviously so distraught at the sight of the fallen hero that Shamrock was able to catch him off-guard and get the pin.

Halftime Heat

With the owner of the WWF, Mr. McMahon by his side, the Corporate Champion made his way to the ring where Mankind was anxiously waiting for the bell. Once the match began, Mankind was all over The Rock. The challenger hit his opponent with a Double-Arm DDT and reached down in his trunks for Mr. Socko! The Rock was able to get out of the ring before the cotton tube sock had any lasting affect.

Now the match was on the outside of the ring, which allowed Mankind to use anything he could get his hands on to punish the Rock with. The Challenger slammed his opponent into the ring-bell, the announce table and the steel steps. Mr. McMahon, who provided commentary for the match, got involved in a war of words with Mankind, allowing The Rock to collect himself and turn the tide. The Champion whipped Mankind through the barrier that surrounds ringside and into a sea of empty chairs on the arena floor! The Rock picked up the challenger and threw him into another section of empty chairs, making Mankind look like a bowling ball trying to pick up the spare.

The brawling continued up the arena steps! The Rock and Mankind took turns pulverizing each other as the ascended the stairs. The Rock made it up first and hid behind a wall with garbage can in hand. When Mankind finally made it up to the top, The Rock sprang out and walloped the Deranged One over the head, knocking him to the floor. The Rock then kicked Mankind, sending him rolling down the entire flight of stairs. Slamming his head into the concrete floor, as well as the steel arm rests on the chairs, Mankind fell for what seemed like an eternity.

The Rock remained in control as the battle led into the kitchen area. After the Champion whipped his opponent into an industrial sized metal freezer, Mankind went down feeling the affects of the beating The Rock was putting him through. The Great One was able to get his hands on Mr. Socko and toss it in a pizza oven and then tried to do the same thing to Mankind!

The Challenger was able to turn the tide and get back on the offensive by tossing The Rock onto a pile of ceramic dinner plates before punishing him over the head with a bag of popcorn! It was certainly "Jiffy Time" for the Rock as he was whipped out of the kitchen and into the serving area. With tables of food set up for some of the arena employees, The Rock and Mankind beat each other on top of the food! Mankind cracked the Rock into a tray of ham, and the Champion struck back by throwing a bowl of salsa in Mankinds face! The Deranged One attempted a pile driver, but The Rock reversed it and sent Mankind crashing down on trays of chicken, rice and mixed vegetables! The two superstars were covered in food, as the battle moved into an arena officials office, where it appeared a meeting was taking place.

The Rock used anything he could get his hands on to wear Mankind down. Throwing him over a recliner and onto the floor, The Great One grabbed the phone and tried to choke his opponent out with the cord. The two superstars fought out the door and into an empty meeting hall, where they took turns sending each other crashing into tables and the steel walls.

The battle then moved to its final spot, the backstage loading dock area. Mankind was firmly in control at this point and was able to lock on Mr. Socko and the Mandible Claw. Rock could not break free and was knocked out after an eternity in the devastating hold. Mankinds sick mind then gave him an idea. He dragged The Rock under a forklift and asked the operator to get out and let him control it. The piece of heavy machinery had five full kegs on its platform and Mankind lowered them right on the Rock! Trapped under tons of beer, The Rock was conscious but could not move a muscle. Mankind sat on top of the kegs as the referee counted to three, awarding Mankind the victory and the World Wrestling Federation Championship!
